While outside my front door existed one of the United State's most dangerous cities, the circumstances affecting me the most were actually inside my home. Behind closed doors, I was being abused. Deeply affected by my childhood trauma, I made bad choices and decisions. I made grave mistakes that affected lives. As I grew into an adult, I had to acknowledge what I could and couldn't control as I continued to make life mistakes; stumbling through those mistakes as I tried to find my path in life.
My journey entails much more than this series shares, but that which I do and don't share, I know others can relate. I continue to take the paths that present before me as I travel my journey in life. As a writer by passion and a story teller at heart, I share my travels with you.
